GOOD MORNING FROM NEW YORK

New York, 8.30am (1.30pmGB)
Good morning, Richard Lewis, press officer of the British Athletics League, reporting live from New York this morning where the ING Marathon is set to start in 40 minutes time.
Will Paula Radcliffe triumph again? It will be a major surprise if she does not, but let us not forget that this is her eighth city marathon and she has won them all. Some record!
Temperatures are in the late 50s here this morning, with a chilly wind and overnight rain with the prospect of a little more rain. But the conditions could prove to be perfect.
It is 999 days until the start of the Olympics in London and Radcliffe's road to London could start here in earnest.
Stay with us for continued updated coverage throughout the morning from the race.
